Service Porter

Job Description

The service porter position is customer facing and requires the ability to react to the needs of the customer and our staff. We are able to assist the customer with certain issues right in the service drive, thus saving time and improving overall customer satisfaction. The ability to multi-task, be self directed, and stay focused are very important in this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Perform minor services in drive once appropriately trained
  • Drive vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed
  • Assist with loaner vehicle check
  • Assist with vehicle flow within dealership as service tickets are generated
  • Provides customer courtesy washes as needed
  • Shuttle vehicles and customers on/off premises when needed
  • Maintain organization of customer vehicles in service lot
  • Other duties within service department as needed
  • Assist in maintaining clean and professional work environment

Requirements

Clean Driving record/Valid Utah Driver's License.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Making appointments, processing repair orders, quotes and invoices.
  • Providing customer support via phone and face to face at the dealership.
  • Qualifying customer problems and logging them for technicians to review.
  • Ensuring customer approval for all remedial work to be carried out.
  • Promoting our range of vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Internal coordination of service work to adhere to commitments made to customers.
  • Estimating costs and time for work to be carried out, and maintaining customer contact to ensure smooth delivery of vehicle.

Specific Skills Required

  • Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer required.
  • Candidate MUST possess above average phone and communication skills.
  • Must bring a positive attitude to this role and be completely comfortable upselling clients on BMW products and services.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to clients.
  • Ability to evolve and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and random testing throughout the year.
  • Have a good driving record and be at least 18 years of age or older

Schedule is 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, Every third Saturday 9am-2pm.

BMW Parts Associate

Job Description


As a BMW Parts Associate you will assist customers in purchasing the correct part and creating an invoice for the purchase. This individual will represent the brand and the premium experience our customers have come to expect. The communication and customer service both on the phone and in person will be representative of the experience our customers receive throughout the dealership and uphold all BMW brand standards.

Responsibilities


As a first point of contact and a customer-oriented representative, clearly communicate with the customer throughout the entire parts purchase. Provide assistance in ordering of special parts if necessary and follow up with customer about status of purchase. Provide value for the customer by being knowledgeable and professional, and delivering the premier customer service experience our customers expect from our brand.

Qualifications


  • Prior dealership background is required.
  • Experience with ADP/CDK preferred.
  • Detail oriented and take pride in work.
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude with customers and co-workers.
  • Self starter.
  • Professional and friendly.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Must have valid Utah Drivers License.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random testing throughout the year.
